Last year’s Fall Classic proved to be one of the most exciting Events in Straight Down history. SLO native and SD pro Loren Roberts clenched the Fall Classic title along with his partner Straight Down’s own Mike Rowley. This was the first time that Roberts has won the Classic and he sealed the title with an epic 20+ foot put on 18. They finished the tournament with a 2-day score of 128. Freddy Couples made a trip out to play in the Fall Classic and with him came the crowds.
John Elway also showed up to sign some autographs and take a few pictures, oh and to play some golf as well.
All in all it was a great year to say the least. Be sure to check out the 2011 Fall Classic that is happening November 11th-13th at the San Luis Obispo Country Club.
