Get to know three of the Straight Down Ambassadors and professional golfers– Robert Streb, Rod Pampling, and Jimmy Gunn as they tell us a little bit about their golf careers and the role that Straight Down plays in their lives.
Robert Streb
Bio: Robert Streb was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma and attended Kansas State University where he earned All-American honors while playing collegiate golf. He is now an American professional golfer and has been playing on the PGA Tour since 2013.
Robert's Golf Story: "I got into the game because my father really loves the game. My mom traveled a lot when my brother and I were young and in order for my dad to practice, he would give me a bucket of balls to hit while my brother sat in the stroller. Just like a lot of kids, I wanted to follow my dad around. I really enjoy being outside and I've always enjoyed the challenge golf presents. There is something about going out and trying to get around a golf course in the least amount of shots possible that is entertaining to me. Winning the RSM Classic in 2015 is probably my proudest moment in golf. Additionally, being able to play on the PGA Tour 9 straight seasons is something that I am proud of."
Why He Wears Straight Down: "Straight Down means a great deal to me. They were a part of my early years on Tour and believed in me as a young professional. They are all about family and the spirit of the game, which are two things I respect and admire. The clothes are some of the most comfortable I have ever worn. Rod Pampling
Bio: Rod Pampling is an Australian professional golfer who was born in Redcliffe, Queensland. He turned professional in 1994 and joined the PGA Tour in 2002, which he still plays in.
Rod's Golf Story: "My family and I moved to a small town and the only sport then was golf. I was 15 years old, and my Mum dragged me out to golf. I love golf because anyone of any level can compete against each other because of the handicap system. Golf-wise any of my wins are my proudest moments. Running or helping with charity events also ranks high."

Jimmy Gunn
Bio: Jimmy Gunn is a Scottish professional golfer who was born in Dingwall, United Kingdom. He moved to the United States in 2007 to turn professional. He now plays on the Korn Ferry Tour.
Jimmy's Golf Story: "My grandfather first taught me to play. My favorite parts about the game are meeting new people and the fact that golf is always challenging. Finishing 25th at U.S has to be my proudest moment."
Why He Wears Straight Down: "When it comes to Straight Down, I love the whole range to be honest.
