Back Nine of Christmas: Day 1

10th Hole at the Riviera Country Club

Often cited as golf’s greatest short Par 4, Hole 10 at Riviera offers a challenge to players of all skill levels. Designed by George C. Thomas Jr. in the 1920s, the course has been modified over the years to better suit the modern game.

The 10th gives players the option of taking a shot at driving for the green, or play it short off to the left. Whatever the choice; a skinny, well-bunkered green makes for a tricky approach that can prove costly.
