LPGA player Ellinor Sudow says she is passionate about hard work, spreading positivity and living life. Those values are synonymous with ours, which is why we’re excited to add her to the team of Straight Down ambassadors. Sudow, 25, recently completed her rookie season on the LPGA after completing her successful collegiate career at the University of Arizona.

We’re excited for Ellinor to showcase Straight Down’s line of women’s clothing as she continues her rise in professional golf. The vibrant colors and bold patterns that have come to define Straight Down perfectly embody Ellinor’s ethos.

“Ellinor’s positive energy and power is contagious,” said one of her former coaches.

Ellinor developed a love of the outdoors while growing up in a small ocean village in the south of Sweden. She didn’t start playing golf until she was 12 years old but her work ethic allowed her to develop quickly and earn a college scholarship to the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, where she was an Academic All-American and an all-conference player.

She experienced a breakthrough in her game while training full time near Straight Down’s hometown of San Luis Obispo, California, during the 2020 pandemic. After shaving five strokes off her scoring average, she transferred to one of the nation’s top collegiate golf programs, the University of Arizona, to pursue her graduate studies. Ellinor turned pro in 2022 and qualified for the LPGA the following year, continuing her rapid ascent in the world of golf.
